We were assigned to a corner room on the second floor, which not only had no windows but also lacked any ventilation. When grilling, the smoke was so overwhelming that it made our eyes tear up. Additionally, there were no waitstaff on the second floor to provide service. During our meal, a server carrying the meat we ordered came upstairs and was also choked by the smoke, eager to leave quickly. When we asked if the smoke level was normal, the server simply opened a window in the adjacent room, which had no effect and only made the room colder. We ended up finishing our meal in a cold and smoky environment. It was a truly terrible experience in my foodie life. Even though the meat tasted not bad, I would only give it one star due to the poor environment and would not recommend it. Great quality meat, nice atmosphere and amazing service. Meats already cut in appropriate number of pieces for your party size. Staff very attentive, kind and approachable - especially our server Tanikoshi English menu available Highlight was the beef tongue - normally I'm not a fan because I find this cut tough - at Razan the cuts were thick and meat was soft and juicy! The beef quality is impressive, of course with a decent price. The staff were not as much welcoming. For example, they only gave us about 40 minutes to dine, which we were fine with.
