Tsubaki Dream Dolce offers a delightful ice cream experience. The milk soft serve is absolutely delicious - creamy, smooth, and full of rich, milky flavor. Beyond the soft serve, the other gelato flavors are also of excellent quality.

Our favorite is the coconut gelato, which we describe as being particularly good. The wide variety of high-quality gelato flavors provides plenty of options for customers to find something they'll enjoy.

Overall, Tsubaki Dream Dolce seems to be an ice cream shop that takes pride in its products. The milk soft serve is the standout, but the gelato selection is impressive as well. It's clearly a popular spot for satisfying one's sweet tooth.

Location: be reminded that it is located underground but not in the mall...

It would be 2 stars, if it wasn't for the soft cream; one of the best I've had in Japan in years.

On the other hand, the "gelato" is below average: Hokkaido has some of the best milk in the country, and I couldn't taste anything but water.

The way it's scooped with a spoon, the rugged texture, icy consistency and bland taste of its flavors, makes the product an average ICE CREAM at best, but certainly not a gelato.

I tried "berry cheesecake" and "caramel Choco cookie" and there was barely any sweetness. One spoon of vanilla soft cream and the taste of cheese and chocolate were gone completely from my mouth.

We’re from Australia, where we are spoilt with amazing quality milk and great soft serves. Hokkaido soft serve is on another level!

Creamy, just the right amount of sweetness and really enhances the milk flavour. It’s not as sweet as the ones you get from Maccas in AU, and not as “laughing cow” cheese flavour as the Cremia soft serves you get here in Japan.

The cone with the Hokkaido soft serve has the right amount of “toasted” taste to complement the soft serve milkiness.
