First time in a small family-style restaurant. Good food, great atmosphere, great unique experience.
Although English menu is NOT available, the owner and other customers offered a lot of help when I was ordering food. I had different kinds of small chat with them (with my very broken Japanese) and enjoyed it a lot. The man sitting at the bar next to me even offered a small portion of his food (which was delicious).
Everybody was friendly and fun. My visit only lasted for around 2 hours but it made me feel like I was already part of a big family.

Chef was not making sushi of any sort on this day and upon walking in we thought that this was a mistake because there was no English. Chef got through to us that we needed to order alcohol first due to that being the type of place it was and we did and then from there was all fun and good vibes.
