First time in a small family-style restaurant. Good food, great atmosphere, great unique experience. Although English menu is NOT available, the owner and other customers offered a lot of help when I was ordering food. I had different kinds of small chat with them (with my very broken Japanese) and enjoyed it a lot. The man sitting at the bar next to me even offered a small portion of his food (which was delicious). Everybody was friendly and fun. My visit only lasted for around 2 hours but it made me feel like I was already part of a big family. I probably wont be visiting Shizuoka any time soon, but note to self: I really should visit more small shops and restaurants like this.

We communicated through translate and then had a bilingual friend sit beside us that we used as an interpreter and ordered a little of everything on the menu and all food was fantastic. Nothing chef made missed the mark at all.

当日に電話予約を入れたところ、先程予約が埋まってしまったとのこと。 諦めるしかないと思いましたが、電話対応の感じがとても良く、どうしても利用したいと思い、開店同時に伺いました。 空席が出る頃に伺いたい旨を申し出ると、19城からの予約があるので、それまでなら良いとのことで、有難く入店させていただきました。 ４人組のグループに山盛りのキャベツが運ばれていきました。 半分位の量を注文した所、キャベツ中とのことですが、それでも十分過ぎる量です。 この日はおでんをはじめ、静岡らしいものが殆どないとのこと。 少し悩んで、黒はんぺんフライ、白身魚(シイラ)フライのタルタル、豚カタロースのくしカツカレーかけを注文 はんぺんは良かったですが、その他は思ったより相当な量で、完食するのがやっとでした。 おにぎりも小振りでと注文しましたが、かなりの大きさです。 普通のおにぎりだと、どんな大きさなのでしょうか。 コチラのお店、食事も十分満足ですが、お客さんへの対応が抜群です。 予約の電話が入った際も、その日は満席のようで、近くの良いお店を説明して紹介されていました。 居心地の良いコチラのお店で、また気持ち良く食事がしたいと思いました。

The owner don't know English but he tried his best to communicate, the menu aren't in English or have image so I tried every thing that the owner recommended but it's all perfect, I got a gift...
