MUJI Asumo Takayama Store — Hotel in Takayama

Having a Muji store is always a great thing. Having it in Takayama just above the Asumo supermarket is even better. This shop is nice but they don't clean at all, a lot of goods are dusty and so the floor and some goods also have mold! The staff is very kind but they don't clean at all and for a new shop wow that is really surprising. There is a resting area with chairs, working wifi and a recharge station and usb as well with 100 JOY coffee. a pleasant place to rest a bit or buy goods, also english automatic self checkout (cashiers) and the goods as muji always do are also in english explained, some even in other languages. So as a franchise it is great to have in a city like that, but the cleaning part REALLY is something that needs to improve, like a lot. It seems to me that the whole staff has no experience at all. But at least is very kind. Hopefully with this review they start improve. And the pictures here are just a few of the many uncleaned goods! Even that I recommend it, because...

セルフレジにて購入した時のこと。 最後にレジ袋購入カードをスキャンし、会計を済ませてからレジ袋のサイズを選んでいると、すぐさまセルフレジに立っていた女性店員が「お客様、そちらのレジ袋は有料となっていますが、よろしかったですか？」と、怪訝そうに声を掛けてきた。よろしかったも何も…自分で買った物を選んで何が駄目なのか？ レシートを見せて「袋ならちゃんと買いましたが。」と言うと、自分のミスを謝りもせず「あぁ、そうでしたか。」と。

今日日、レジ袋有料な事くらい常識ですし、もし間違えて持って行ってしまう人が多いのなら、セルフレジを通す前に「レジ袋購入の際はこのカードをスキャンして下さい」等、最初に客への声掛けをするべきではありませんか？何のためにセルフレジで立っているんでしょうか？ 人を疑っておいて「失礼しました」という一言もなく済まされ、その店員に10円の袋を万引きしようとしていると私は疑われたんだなと思うと、こちらとしては、大変不快な気分になりました。 (勿論、普通に買ったので疑われるような怪しい動きをしていた覚えもありません。)
