ニギハヤヒティー NIGIHAYAHI TEA 渋谷神山町本店 — Restaurant in Tokyo

Well it’s not actually a coffee place I still included it into my Coffee journal due to the fact that their method is actually that of coffee! They grind the tea into a puck and then pour the shot! It’s a very interesting concept and tasty! This way it really brings out the tea’s potential and personality because in my opinion if you boil a kettle and put a tea bag into it. They will all kinda taste the same, like hot water. After briefly and the best we could even with the language barrier, we decided on the oolong. That was her favorite and I do agree. It has such a rich and define flavor. The best to describe it is a good quality green tea mixed with the dept and richness from a black tea. Though more floral and subtle than both of them. The atmosphere is dainty, the outside is rather simple but the inside is one of my favorites in Japan! They have quiet jazz playing in the background and use a pleasant color scheme of off white, fern, peach and a calm red. Ontop of that they have kept the old wooden structure inside and worked around it, adding in more wooden features that tie everything. It is very breathable and smells incredible due to the mixtures of teas. I probably sat here for far too long. I definitely recommend this relaxing spot. We were today in this Cozy matcha Café and it was the best Café /matcha experience that we ever had.

The Style of the Store and the Ambiente is very Cozy and Natural, it has its own charme that binds you Like magic when you enter it.

The staff/owner was very kind and helpful. He delivers a Great Service and has a Great character.

We had the Strong matcha Latte Iced and it was the best matcha Latte in my life so far.
