Singapore Holic Laksa — Restaurant in Tokyo

Had both of these: laksa and chicken rice for a 1000 yen.

For a local Singaporean, I can give an honest review.

First off, for those complaining about the price, understand that this is not their local food and its a cafe theme. Of course it is going to be more expensive. Its like going Saudi Arabia to eat Sushi and complaining its expensive. So dont be stupid.

Next, about the flavour. As a local, i must say that the laksa is actually very delicious. And I have actually tried a lot of different stalls from Katong laksa to random ones. The taste is not too spicy (order hot), a little sweet and simply very delicious and authentic.

The place itself is quite cosy but a little small. The outside area is smoking permitted.

For those who have never been to singapore and want to try an authentic Singapore dish? YES COME HERE. And for those who miss home? YES...

Halal and a really cozy ambiance. It's near Shibuya crossing but the road is not that much crowded. The location is really easy to find. It is on the 2nd floor. Both outside and inside of the lift, they put proper signs to follow correctly. On About the food, I first time tried Singaporean food and I loved it. The put may be shrimp sauce in the soup. You can taste lots of flavor bursting in your mouth. With coconut milk, the spices and shrimp combination is mind-blowing. The lunch set is a good deal for me. I took an S size which is enough for me. The rice is just simple Jasmin rice with salt. Like salty-flavored rice with chicken shredded. Very simple yet classic combo. The noodles are long and really chewing. It's not like ramen or other noodles. Recommendation: Laska & chicken...

THE BEST THING I'VE GOT IN TOKYO. It has 5 stars in all aspects, from the food, the ambience, and the service.

Laksa that they served is so delicious and it is comparable to most Laksa in Singapore I think. The portion is so good with reasonable price.

The restaurant itself provides wifi connection (from Fon and also independently), sufficient Japan-type sockets, air conditioner, and cute color-tone (light greenish-blue and white). And also, this is located in Harajuku but not beside the big road (it is better this way).

Service from the owner is good. We can order it easily. Free mineral water if you'd like and free refill by self service.

Overall good choice to have if you are hungry in Tokyo, especially near...
