This restaurant literally means "love letter". It's downstairs in the basement, don't confuse it with the restaurant on the ground floor. It's quite charming and the assortment of Japanese food was well selected. We had a full course meal so didn't have to choose. Also, we had a private room in the back, which was very cool because instead of chairs, they had couch seating for up to 10 people. It's quite relaxing having...

Staff were amazingly polite and professional

We had a set meal that covered entree to desserts with ample time between each plate to digest the dishes

All up it took about 2 hours for the dinner course I would highly recommend the sashimi for the pure freshness and coloration of the fish.

Another dish I would highly recommend is the matcha mochi which is the smoothest, softest and tastiest mochi which literally will melt...

Beware, it’s a smoking inside restaurant So if you’re not ok with that I would ask to dine downstairs

My first restaurant in Tokyo and it did not disappoint! The food was good, the service a bit slow and since we were sitting upstairs it was a bit difficult to ask for help the servers. Although I think that the overall experience, so food and atmosphere make up for it. There were only locals on a Friday night and the vibes were great.
