割と好みが分かれやすいラーメン店だと思います。御徒町駅・上野御徒町駅より徒歩1分程度のところにあり、中央通り沿いにあるため、休日を中心に混雑しやすいです。カウンター席及びテーブル席合わせて40席程度ですが、客の回転はそれ程悪くは無く、混雑した時間帯でもあまり待たされずに食事が出来ると思います。 入口付近に設置されている券売機で予め食券を購入する必要があります。 醬油や塩のスープのラーメンもありますが、この店の特徴の一つとして、海老をベースとした味が濃いスープのラーメンがあります。味付けも濃いですが魚介ならではの香りも濃く、それを苦手と思う人も居るかもしれません。また盛り付けに使用されている器も、ゴツゴツした感じの石焼鍋のようで、特徴的と言えば特徴的ですが、容量としてはやや小さく、値段と比較するとやや物足りないと感じるかもしれません。 スタッフの接客対応は可もなく不可もなし、といった感じでした。

It's a ramen restaurant where tastes tend to differ rather easily. It's located about a minute walk from Okachimachi Station and Ueno-okachimachi Station, and since it's along Chuo-dori Street, it tends to be crowded mainly on holidays. There are about 40 seats including counter seats and table seats, but the turnover of customers is not so bad, and you can have a meal without waiting too long even during crowded hours. You must purchase a meal ticket in advance from the ticket vending machine located near the entrance. The restaurant also offers ramen in shoyu(soy sauce) and shio(salt) broths, but one of its specialties is ramen in a strong shrimp-based broth. The soup is richly seasoned, but it also has a strong seafood aroma that some diners may find off-putting. The bowls used for serving the ramen are like stone pots with a rugged appearance, which is characteristic, but they are rather small in capacity and may seem a bit inadequate compared to the price. Im a pretty picky eater, as i have sensory issues and issues trying new foods. This ramen shop was not only filled with extremely friendly staff with smiles on their faces, but also delicious food. I can very safely say that this has been the best ramen ive had so far in Japan! The meat was melty and delicious, the broth was mouth watering. I very much enjoyed myself here. The atmosphere and people were wonderful and the ramen was extremely satiating.

I learned a bit of ramen making too. It is wonderful when there is an excited passion to teach within people.
