薪窯PIZZA 鉢の木（ピッツァ・ハチノキ） — Restaurant in Tokyo

Back in Autumn 2018 I got lost in the forest just as the sun was setting, with little battery on my phone and very little direction, I spotted a “pizza” sign in the middle of the trees! I found this special place tucked in the forest, I was hungry, stressed and cold, with little to no English they sat me down, served a wild mushroom pizza, a glass of water, and a freshly picked yuzu. And like magic, all felt so much better (not to mention how delicious was the pizza!) I left, they gave me two baked potatoes wrapped in foil to warm up my hands on the way home and showed me the way to the train station. Beautiful location overlooking the river. The pizzas are tasty and authentic, made with a traditional wood fired oven. In order to get there, you need to take a short and pittoresque walk. Worth a visit if...

お店も駐車場も非常にわかりにくい場所にありますが、景色がよくお手頃なのにとても美味しいピザが頂けるお店でした。

4月の日曜の11時40分頃に伺いました。開店ちょうどを狙っていましたが、駐車場とお店を探すのに手間取りました。 因みに駐車場は、山荘鉢の木から青梅街道を下り方面に５軒目と６軒目の間にある砂利敷の空き地でした。 また、店舗は山荘から道向かいにある電気屋の奥隣にある金属製の狭い階段を降りて氷川大橋の下を潜ったあたり（山荘の東側で橋の下）にあります。 私たちが入店した際には先客はいませんでしたが、奥のテーブル一つは予約席になっていました。

メニューはピザとドリンクのみ。この日はピザ３種類と子供用にジュースを注文しました。ピザを待っていると想定していなかったサラダが提供されて嬉しい誤算です。 ピザは横にあるキッチンで生地を伸ばしてソースやトッピングを載せて窯で焼いていました。注文から提供まで10分も掛かっていなかったと思います。焼きたてで提供され、窯焼きによるフレーバーもしっかりと出ている本格的なピザで非常に美味しかったです。ピザのサイズは25cm程度の大きさで、大人なら1人１枚、男性だと１枚で少し足りないくらい。一枚1200-1400円くらいと味に比べて値段は手頃でした。 近所にあれば週末に家にいるなら毎週利用してそうな程度のお店でした。 因みに滞在時間は30分程度でしたが出る頃には席...
