PORT Okutama — Restaurant in Tokyo

Stumbled upon this place by accident and boy was I glad I did! The restaurant is located on the second floor of the station along with a cafe and second-hand gear shop.

The cafeteria/restaurant serves a well-portioned size of different curry. It seems that the place may also have live music since there is a stage at the front. Curry was very filling and the perfect dish after a long day of hiking. They also serve some of the local beer from VERTERE here.

PORT Okutama is a super cool cafè, but it’s much more than that. It reflects the owner’s passion for music, outdoors, coffee, and beer. There are a variety of locally-made and high-quality goods. And the cookies and cakes, baked there, are very delicious. And the owners and staff are so friendly!!! You would never expect such a cool place in a countryside train station - it is on the second floor, right above the entrance. You can see the tracks so you can run and catch...

Highly recommend this shop inside the station. Quality of food and coffee is much better than it needs to be. Very surprised. The coffee I had was on par with glitch in tokyo using special high quality beans. Tasted infused but wasn't lychee flavor profile.
