Wondered in by chance and quite chuffed I, in fact, did! Had to wait for a small while before being seated, but the wait was definitely worth it.
To start off, the menu is available in both English and Japanese, and the staff is very attentive as well as friendly.
The tonkotsu options available are well-amazing - mere ¥1400 (incl. tax) for a massive lunch that included a sizeable chicken katsu cut, a juicy wagyu beef katsu cut, a bowl of pork miso, a portion of egg mayo and once refillable bowl of rice and fresh portion of salad. Lunch prices varied between ¥1350 to ¥2000, but everything looked amazing.
Hands down best tonkatsu had so far and this place won't leave you feeling hungry. Will definitely pay...
Read moreAmazing value tonkatsu! The pork cutlet is deep fried to a perfection as so crispy and fluffy. Easy to bite and the pork itself is also very tender and juicy. It literally melt in my mouth in the first bite. I ordered the premium pork which is a fatty one and I love it! Probably I will order this and a lean cut as well next time just to balance it out. Rice no miso soup taste great and the cabbage probably is not as good as the other ingredients. The only drawback is I waited for 45min to get in which I was a bit surprised as we only have 2 groups of guests ahead of us. Overall a high quality tonkatsu, if you are around the area, definitely worth check it out, even better if there...

I don't know how they get chicken and pork to behave in this way. Very juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. And the thick crispy outer layer melts in your mouth as you bite in. My whole world view on tonkatsu is changed.
The wagyu beef was a bit like meatloaf and pales in comparison to the chicken and pork.
I also got the fried scallop and jumbo shrimp which were both large and delicious.
Would highly...
