This CoCo Ichibanya is easily accessible from Hamamatsucho Station and Daimon Station. Since this restaurant is in the area that is a busy downtown area with many izakaya (Japanese style pubs) and is open relatively late at night, many customers seem to use the restaurant for a quick meal after a drinking session. Therefore, the restaurant seems to be more crowded during dinner hours than during lunch hours. The restaurant is not very spacious and has only about 30 seats, which may be the reason for this congestion. In addition, the restaurant is designed for single people and is not suitable for groups of several people. Even so, there are many customers who visit in groups of four or five, and most of them seem to be foreign tourists. The entrance is narrow and has steps, so it is not recommended for wheelchair users. The quality of the dishes served and the customer service of the staff seem to be on par with other CoCo Ichibanya...
Read moreFast and relatively inexpensive, however the quality for the Chicken Katsu Curry was subpar. The curry sauce lacked texture and the Katsu tasted only slightly better than those from Convenience stores. Tried Coco Ichibanya in Singapore too and for once, the Singapore outlets actually tasted better. Still, this seems to be the only curry restaurant in the vicinity so if you’re craving for curry, it is...
