All Seasons Coffee Ikebukuro — Restaurant in Tokyo

We stumbled upon this charming little café by chance while looking for a nearby temple that, unfortunately, was closed. With the cold wind picking up, we decided to duck into All Season Café—and I’m so glad we did.

The café is small and intimate, with a warm, cozy vibe that made it the perfect escape from the weather. We ordered a latte, a matcha latte, matcha cheesecake, and ice cream for my daughter. The drinks were comforting, and while the dessert wasn’t anything extraordinary, it was still enjoyable and fun to try something new.

What really made the experience special was the relaxed atmosphere. We sat at a small table, taking in the calm surroundings while local young couples around us enjoyed their sweet treats. It was the perfect little break to unwind after a long day of exploring Tokyo.

We came here as the bus stop to Nakano is around the corner. So happy we visited, as it wound up being excellent on all fronts. The hot latte I got was delicious, and my wife was able to get a cold decaf latte. Decaf is quite uncommon at Japanese cafes still.

The food was excellent - the Tuna melt sandwich is God-tier, and the caramel salt cheesecake is great. Excellent small cafe a few minutes of walk away from the bustling Ikebukuro west exit and the Kanamecho Station. In a quiet neighborhood but apparently very popular with locals. The barista is an expatriate that speaks perfect Japanese, and there are quite a number of foreign patrons when we were there. He is very knowledgeable and explains his coffees to customers.
