They have this poster up for their ¥1100 pumpkin curry at their door. I couldn’t see it on the menu so I asked the server if they are serving it. He said yes. I asked if it included naan, he said yes. He asked me what drink I wanted, I ordered a lassi.

Food was just ok, nothing to write home about. The curry lacked in seasoning, naan was smaller than average and lassi was generic. Service while not enthusiastic it was not unfriendly either.

But then came time to pay, the total was ¥1780. The breakdown: ¥1100 for the curry, ¥300 for the naan, ¥280 for the lassi. Despite the fact that the server first told me the naan was included. His Japanese abilities are probably limited so I will cut him some slack. But it’s slightly annoying that I’m currently in a budget and the extra I had to pay will make things a bit tight.
