Barbacoa Toranomon Hills Branch — Restaurant in Tokyo

Bookings were not available online so I decided to give it a shot at the Toranomon branch and to my surprise the treatment there was so much better than at the Roppongi store where we had been before. From the manager (I forgot his name) to all the members of the staff that took care of us the difference in service between the two outlets is huge. If you're about to make a booking choose the Toranomon Hills restaurant.

Although the food might be the same in all Barbacoas it tastes better after being treated so well.

Something to improve? The caipirinhas could be longer than two sips. These cocktails require a long preparation and it only takes seconds to dry out the fruit in the glass. Even levelling up the price (drinks cost Y$900 if I'm not mistaken) would be better than ordering 2 at a time.

To be direct, I have never been a fan of Brazilian restaurants as I find that the meat is usually low quality, the salad bars are messy, and everything lacks flavor. Barbacoas are never like that though. While there are other locations in Tokyo, this is my favorite as I find it has the nicest atmosphere. The salad bar is fresh, and has excellent high quality selections. The service is prompt, and meat will come almost as quickly as you can eat it if you want, or you can turn the token over and have them pause. If you like wine, I recommend getting the wine add-on, while not the highest quality wine, it is still a good deal and can pair nicely with your meal. Food quality is great! Also, if you have been to Brazilian restaurant around the globe, you may think this is as close to the authentic Brazilian BBQ restaurant!

Food quality: Great with Wagyu selection. All selection of steaks and meats comes to you table endlessly. The plate turnover is very high as fresh meats were served every 5 min or less. Buffet salads are great quality as some of those ingredients are hard to have access at Japanese grocery markets. Very fresh and delicious.

Atmosphere: Very friendly atmosphere and English is spoken at this restaurant as some of the servers are foreginer mostly from Brazil. They speaks both Portuguese and English. Very friendly and...
