Bistro Gaburi — Restaurant in Tokyo

I was looking for a restaurant to go to on Friday night. I looked for a while before finding Bistro Gaburi, all the restaurants were fully booked for the same day and I was a bit desperate to find anything.

Thankfully there was availability there and I could reserve a table easily right on google maps.

We had a very fun evening. We sat at the bar and the chef took care of our orders while cooking. What a service! As he was searing meat and hastily preparing the plates, he took the time to talk with us and making sure everything was to our convenience.

The waiter was also very funny and welcoming.

The food was delicious, we had a plate for 2 consisting of appetizers and delicious beef (including wagyu). We ordered an additional salad and had desert as well. We thought the prices were cheap considering all the drinks we had!

I definitely recommend the place, the staff was utterly kind to us even though we don’t speak much Japanese.

We are repeat diners here. Large restaurant downstairs from street. Great vibe and decor. All the staff are friendly and service is great. Welcome plate of fresh breads and whipped salted butter are first on the table. Food is sort of French with Japanese twist,but there is something on the menu for all from vegetarian dishes, salads, pizzas, seafood, beef, lamb and even horse meat. Every dish we have tried is beautifully cooked and delicious “oishi”! Try their legendary banana trifle... they just keep spooning it into a bowl until you say stop! we had an amazing time here. the food was great and a great value for money. the steak was prepared really well. the pizza, spinach and bacon gratin with truffle were all very flavorful, and the mozzarella fritters wrapped in prosciutto was also filling.. wine was also really good. the classic purin is also good, not very sweet, but very rich. staff was really attentive. one downside is that there is no elevator, so if you have a baby with a stroller it may be a bit difficult. although the staff could probably help with that with...
