Wrong place for Sushi or tempura. My son wanted to have some sushi so we googled it and came to this place. The name starts with ‘sushi’ but it’s actually an Izakaya (basically a bar, you have to order drink), I guess it’s my fault that I didn’t notice this place is an Izakaya, but probably many visitors would be like me and not notice this word. If you would like to have sushi or tempura, this is the wrong place to visit. The restaurant and the dishes are super small. The squid tempura costs $6 but we only got 4 small pieces. I expect a bit more than that. The taste is average. Needless to say, we left the restaurant even hungrier than before.
And yes, they have a special set menu in English for foreigners, and I guess they do so to help me order. I appreciate the effort, but the interesting thing is that I can’t order dishes from the ‘set’ menu separately. I don’t understand why. I like to drink with thin rolls as a snack, so this restaurant was just the place for me.However, I wished they also had regular tekkomaki.
I forgot to take the sashimi, but the sashimi with kue was really good value and delicious.And the tear rolls are really badass and I was moved to tears after one bite.I encourage everyone to give it a try!

Read more저녁 조금 늦은 시간에 갔는데, 모두 현지인들만 있었습니다. "투 펄슨"이라고 말했더니, 자리가 있음에도 불구하고 스탠딩석에서 먹으라고 했습니다. 서서 먹다가 자리 나면 안내해준다고 했는데, 그냥 기다렸다가 자리 나면 앉겠다고 했습니다. 그러더니 뒤에 온 일본 여자 두 명이 들어왔는데, 예약 없이 온 워크인 손님임에도 불구하고 우리 눈앞에서 바로 자리에 앉게 해줬습니다. 그때부터 정말 화가 나더군요. 직원이 눈을 내리깔면서 우리 눈치를 보기 시작했습니다.
15분 정도 기다리니 겨우 자리가 나서 앉았는데, 갑자기 영어 메뉴판을 주면서 코스 요리를 먹어야 하고, 1인 1주류가 필수라고 하더군요. 직원이 설명하는 내내 기분이 매우 나빴습니다. 혐한인지 아닌지는 모르겠지만, 한국인이 간다면 절대 가지 말라고 말리고 싶습니다. 앞에서 손님을 받던 남자 직원의 표정이 정말 불쾌했습니다. 마치 "우리가 너희를 대접해야 하니?"라는 표정이었습니다.
기다린 시간과 직원의 태도, 눈빛에 너무 화가 나서 결국 주문하지 않고 나왔습니다. 옆에 있던 일본 여자들이 안쓰럽게 우리를 바라보더군요. 그 남자 직원은 정말 수준 낮고 무례했습니다.
We went out for dinner a little late in the evening, and the place was filled with locals. When we said "two persons," despite having empty seats, they told us to eat at the standing area. They said they would guide us to a table if one became available, but we decided we would wait for a table instead. Shortly after, two Japanese women walked in without a reservation, and they were immediately seated at a table right in front of us.
That was when I started to feel really angry. The staff member avoided eye contact and started glancing at us nervously.
After waiting for about 15 minutes, we were finally seated. Then, they suddenly handed us an English menu and told us that we were required to order a course meal and that each person must order a drink. The staff's attitude during the explanation was incredibly unpleasant. I don’t know if it was anti-Korean sentiment, but I strongly want to discourage any Koreans from visiting this place. The male staff member at the entrance had such an unpleasant expression on his face, as if to say, "Why should we serve you?"
