Trattoria Cicci Fantastico — Restaurant in Tokyo

What a stunning dinner and the pricing was sharp too (at least to Australians who have been to Japan over 13 times each).

The house red and house white wines from Italy were my favourite wines of the evening. I would come back for their house red.

I loved the shaved cheese they serve as an appetizer/amuze bouche. The burrata salad is out of this world. They balance the citrus of the dressing perfectly with the sweetest tomatoes I have ever had in my life. The rocket was very fresh and the burrata seemed house made.

The oyster pasta was a surprise, there were a dozen oysters and the spaghetti was a perfect Italian Al dente. I was surprised how much I liked this dish.

The platter of three Japanese meats was divine. The chicken was fresh, juicy and had good smokiness to it, it paired well with the lemon. The pork was sensational, most of the fat had been trimmed, but you wouldn't notice it. The Wagyu was excellent by itself or with some mustard.

Came here for weekday lunch on my own. Came at around 1145 and the place wasn't so busy, atmosphere at first glance is good and place has modern design. They sat me at the counter which is basically in the kitchen and right behind me was the wash up area which could be heard as dishes were placed in and washed. From 12 place got busy and they started to fill up the seats which were very close to each other. The food was decent and for 1080 yen it includes all you can eat appetizers (which were good), coffee and tea plus main. I think it was ok and concept/ taste were good just the way the cram in people makes it...

I’m writing this review before I even leave the restaurant because this place is fantastic!

The bread for the appetizer is warm and crispy! I ordered the 3 meat plate (chicken, beef, pork) and my husband had the duck. We were told it would take 40 minutes to cook but it definitely didn’t take that long.

I did a happy dance throughout the entire meal!! The chicken was juicy and the pork was so tender. The vegetables were cooked to perfection. I loved it all! This was by far the best meal I had in Tokyo! So delicious and we will...
