This place really exceeded my expectations. This was my 5th time visiting Japan from the states. So let me start off by mentioning that I’ve stayed in many Tokyo hotels from prior visits and this one was by far my favorite for many reasons.
First, If you’ve ever visited Tokyo before, you’ll know that the rooms are very small. This was my first time coming here with a toddler and we knew we needed extra room for them to run around. This place was perfect for our little family (3 of us total)
The room was the perfect size. A double wide bed fit my wife, toddler, and I with no issues. The room had a small dining area with two chairs and a banquet. It also had a bunk bed that doubled as a couch below for a quick rest after walking all day when we were too sweaty to lay in bed.
The room also had plenty of added amenities. A small kitchenette that was clutch for washing bottles. A good size mini fridge for cold snacks and baby milk. It even had a little cook top and microwave. The shower room also has a combo washer dryer! I didn’t even know those existed! I was also really surprised with the amount of storage this place had, including under bed storage for our luggage.
Most importantly, we LOVED the staff. They spoke English well enough to answer all of our questions and always greeted us and our baby with genuine smiles and care.
Lastly, this location was only about a 15 minute walk to a JR station (for JR pass users) and less a than 7 minutes walk to the nearest metro station. It was also less than a one minute walk to a Lawson natural and family mart that were great for late night snacks and milk for the kid. 7-11 was also about 3-4 minute walk away.
We will definitely be staying here again when we return to Japan for our next vacation.
I would highly recommend staying here and even more so if you are coming with...
Read moreThis is a super nice apartment we rented for the 10 days we spent in Tokyo. Well equipped for a family of 4 (2 older youths) with in-room laundry.
Laundry is a washer dryer combo and worked well. Separate bathroom from shower was a nice layout. The bathroom is separated from laundry so both can be used at the same time. Bathroom features a tub so great for those wishing to soak or for bathing little kids.
Featuring a small kitchenette with all utensils, dishes, cups, glasses including a small cook top and a microwave and kettle - all the essentials.
King bed was comfy and our older kids had the bunk beds which slept well. The room was a decent size and clean carpet throughout. There is a small table that fit the 4 our us comfortably.
I had to ask for extra pillows as they gave us the tiniest and thinnest pillow and not great for side sleepers. While they did provide extra pillows, this wasn’t perfect - it is the one star deduction for this accommodation.
Conveniently located near many restaurants, convenience stores, a small local fruit and veggie shop (read my review on them), as well as a short walking distance from 2 subway lines and about a 10 min walk from the JR Yamanote line. We used the Asakusa line (no need to switch trains) from Narita airport to get to this hotel - 1.25hrs to get here but low stress. The Daimon stop is A09.
Cleaning service was excellent and the staff at the reception desk were very helpful and knowledgeable. For security, the lift is made operational only by a secure pin. We really appreciated how quiet the neighbourhood became at night. We will...
Read moreI can’t say enough about how incredible this place was and most importantly the STAFF!! The hotel was spotless and in the perfect location for us. It was quaint and the area was quieter than most parts of Tokyo. My sister did research and it was more residential type but with tons of stores and food places all 2-10 min walking distance. The room was enough to sleep 4 but we were 3 and realized the bunk can be put up and the ladder put to the side to make the room more open. There was plenty of room for my sister, mom and I with 3 luggages and more. It came with a mini kitchen, toaster oven and mini fridge and a little nook of table and seating area. There was also a washer/dryer in the bathroom and a great sized shower. The STAFFFFFF!! They were all so kind and helpful with any questions especially about how to work some things in the room. This hotel is 2 stops away to Ginza and also a 25-30 min walk which we did twice. We loved this hotel so much we stayed 2 nights, went to Kyoto and came back for an additional 5 nights. There is a beautiful shrine around the corner as well with 7 eleven and Family Mart. You are also greeted with green tea and candies and it’s available daily. Do yourself a favor and book this hotel. My sister does research on tons of places in our 20 years of traveling and she has not ever been wrong. If you want more hustle and bustle but chic then you may want to look closer in Ginza. That’s my second favorite area...
