This little ramen shop is the absolute best!! My girlfriend and I went in to just get some ramen after spending most of the day in the cold and it did not disappoint. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the lovely chef and he helped us order our food from the self-serve kiosks. Once we ordered and took our seats the super friendly chef chatted to us about where we were from and asked us about what we were planning to do while in Tokyo. Within 5 minutes our 2 bowls of ramen were ready and we started eating. The ramen was absolutely fantastic!! I took my first bite and immediately I knew it was better than any ramen I had in Sydney. During our meal we also had a small chat with fellow tourists in the restaurant and it was a great time. The chef was the best, he even offered to take photos of us with the ramen and gave us an origami gift as well as a Tokyo travel book filled with useful information on how to navigate the city and things to do. If you are in the area and are craving ramen definitely come here!! Its really tourist friendly and I absolutely wish the best for amazing chefs that work...
Read moreUpon entering the place first go to your right to the ordering machine (English menu available). Then get your ticket(s), find a seat and give the ticket to the gentleman inside behind the bar or simply put it on top of your table. If you come with multiple people make sure they remember what they ordered, you’ll be asked so it can be served to the right person. The broth has a lot of umami and the chashu was juicy and super soft, it melts in your mouth. The gentleman inside seems serious but he’s super nice and he will offer you an origami for souvenir then later ask you for your cel phone or camera so he can take a photo of you with your new origami gift from him. He speaks some English and will make sure you’re enjoying your ramen. It’s a two guys operation so be patient. Large group might be tough to accommodate since it’s only a bar sitting with capacity maybe for 12 - 15 people total. Prices are around 1,000JPY so it’s very...
Read moreKiosk ordering before you sit down with an English language option, the menu is super simple but gives you plenty of options for add ons. They also had a vegan ramen option which I haven’t seen in many other Tokyo restaurants. The staff were incredibly warm and friendly, super welcoming to foreigners and the gentleman who served us was lovely to have a conversation with. The ramen itself was absolutely delicious, again very simple, but great flavours and we noted that the eggs served had a much richer and tastier flavour than any we have tried across Japan so far! The pork was also a highlight, super tender and rich with the perfect texture for ramen. The noodles themselves had a wonderful texture and you got the choice between straight or curly. Overall an excellent experience and would happily eat here again, could not recommend enough especially if you are looking for an easy and...
