BRISKSTAND SUIDOBASHI／ブリスクスタンド水道橋〜Japanese Burger&Bar〜 — Restaurant in Tokyo

I went in on a Friday at lunch time, by myself. I was greeted by friendly staff and was seated at the counter. I was given water and had the ordering system (QR code) explained easily to me. Made a simple order, double cheeseburger with a ginger ale. I initially ordered the salad set but another staff member politely explained that it had finished. Upon receiving my hamburger, the fried potatoes were crispy and soft. The texture tells you that real potatoes are served, and the crispy, crunchy texture complement the hamburger. I immediately cut my burger in half, I enjoyed the first half as served. The buns are soft so as to soak up the juices from the patties. A spread of tomato relish and caramelised onions add a sweet and familiar flavour that are well paired. Overall, a well prepared burger with full flavour. The second half I put tomato ketchup on, and truthfully, it’s not needed. Even a small amount will overpower the flavours of the burger. Your best option is to order the burger of your choice and enjoy the flavours presented. Do not attempt to “improve” it with any sauce.

We walked past this burger shop and it smelled amazing and we saw a bunch of locals enjoying their burgers. Attempted to visit that night at 9:33 since the store listed it closed at 10:30, but was turned away, so make sure you arrive well over an hour before they close.

Attempted the second night and the pineapple burger was phenomenal, the pineapple was grilled perfectly, sweet, and cut the fat really well. Usually I HATE onions and am iffy regarding yellow cheese, but they also did it really well here. Also, the potatoes were very crispy, fluffy and soft. Only thing I would change was that I wish the bun wasn’t a whole wheat bun.

However, my partner ordered the teriyaki burger and got the pork and beef mix, topped with teriyaki sauce and mayonnaise, making it waaaaay too fatty and heavy. Would recommend the 100% beef patty if you are coming here and not the pork...

Loved the smell of burgers whenever we walked pass and was intrigued. we ordered their limited time only collab burgers. they were not cut in half so that was a bit disappointing. the burgers were well cooked, topped with cheese and caramelised onions. both the smoked and jalapeño ones were the same burger with different sauces. not quite what we expected BUT was delicious nonetheless. the shining star was the fried potatoes. crispy, crunchy slightly moist and soft inside. they were perfect. we would pick their standard double burger next time and maybe that would be even better....
