The food was good, but the service was terrible. I visited on the evening of January 4 and was dining alone, standing next to a group of 5 people waiting to be seated. There was a vacant seat when I arrived, but the young female staff member (with small eyes and a ponytail, whose name I didn’t catch) refused to seat me until the group was accommodated. Even her male colleagues appeared confused by her actions.

Food: ordered a Pork Fillet Katsu, Prawn, Vegetable-Don & it was a delicious and hearty meal. Came with a side of miso-soup which was perfect for a rainy day.
Service: Staff was friendly and service was quick.
Atmosphere: Bit of smaller restaurant with limited seating, but it adds to the charm and vibe of this place as a quaint local spot.
A few things to know: There is an English menu. Credit Cards are accepted at the time of this review.
Came here Wednesday evening and was...

Marinated in a sauce consisting of secret Coca-Cola-type recipe, the meat is rich in flavour and golden in appearance. Order the fillet, which is one dollar more expensive than the alternative, and you will certainly not regret it! The accompanying vegetables are of the superb quality: the baby corn is crispy and refreshing; the aubergine melts in your mouth; the broccoli doesn’t taste from your own cooking, and the pumpkin resembles, well, pumpkin falling...
