I visited this sushi place on a Thursday evening to have a celebratory dinner after arriving in Tokyo that day. My overall impression was positive and I would recommend this place to others. The most memorable aspect of my visit was the speedy service, seeing the chefs making our sushi (no conveyer belt) and the thick slices of fish on the nigiri which exceeded my expectations.
We ordered the miso soup, edamame, some maki rolls and sashimi and I found the miso soup, plum maki, seared salmon belly nigiri and seared white fish to be particularly delicious. We also received complementary hot green barley tea. We spent about 5800 yen for a 2 person dinner. The portion sizes were as expected for the price, making the overall value for money fair.
The service was fast (about 5-10 minutes between ordering and serving) and friendly. You order on your phone (WiFi and English menu available, QR code on the table). Payment was made at the self checkout machine at the door, where you scan the barcode of your receipt on the table, and they accept cash/credit card/mobile payments, making the process super fast and convenient. Additionally, the staff did not speak good English, which made communication a challenge, but also not fully needed.
The atmosphere was relaxed, creating a pleasant environment. The crowd was mostly individuals or small groups and the place was busy. The music was electronic and played at a comfortable background volume, allowing for normal dinner conversation. We sat at the bar and the seating was comfortable. The place was clean (did not use the restrooms) and the tables were...

Read moreUnderrated local sushi place- fresh fish, decent quality small dishes and great prices. Great for a quick non-fuss sushi meal. Winter special sushi set and chirashi sushi with a large piece of anako (conger eel) are highly recommended. Ordered kimedai Yaki as highly recommended by the chef ( red sea bream head with daikon and burdock sticks stewed in a sweet soy sauce) this was a mistake as there was hardly any body and the sauce was too sweet even for a pudding lover like me. Standard green tea and miso soup comes together with the set....
