Awful experience here on our last night. We actually ended up walking out altogether because the guy in charge was so unbelievably unwelcoming. From the second we arrived he seemed to want to put us off staying, immediately coming over to say there was no English menu and only very reluctantly letting us sit down.

A very enjoyable meal. The owner speaks some English but the menu was in Japanese. We were using Google lense to translate it...

I had no issue communicating with the owner. I ordered the Carbonara and it was delicious! Also served with some bread. Comfortable atmosphere...
