This place is absolute mess! First, its expensive for nothing. they said they have snacks for guests but they dont add anything. I spent two weeks there while they added snacks only twice this whole period. Second, its quite far from the center of tokyo and on the borders of another city; making transportation very expensive. Third, they have a kitchen and a fridge full of food and after the huge price you paid for, they dont let you use noodles or anything claiming its only for staff and request you to wash the dishes and clean showers while staff are sitting having cake and tea and playing on their phone. I paid 75 thousand yen for two weeks; with this amount i could’ve stayed for a whole month in another hostel in the center of Tokyo and even a private room. Fourth, where the huge problem lies is that the girl staff is sleeping secretly every night with the boy staff while the owner doesn’t know. When the boy staff took care of my sister and treated her nicely, the girl ran furious and started accusing and annoying my sister for trivial things and even called booking to complain about her and get rid of her. They also started making up things like why the floor is damp? clean this clean that, is the shower broken? While nothing is broken and eveything is okay. Because the two were exposed to having intimate relations at work. They don’t even change bed sheets for long stay guests and provide towels only once the whole stay. This place is totally a waste of money while you can have so much better options for cheaper price and a sounder environment....
Read moreWonderful Japanese hostel experience. Hosts Toshi and Ryu are nice and very helpful. Wifi is awesome. Very strong signal. Better than some hotels in USA. The price is super good per night. Very clean and tidy. Men and women have separate sleeping rooms and separate bathrooms. Each room has 12 "cubbies" for sleeping. Six top, six bottom. Simple and straight forward. A place to hang your hat and crash after long days of touring Japan. There is a common area to relax and meet guests from all over the world and share stories. Ok to use kitchen facilities. Fresh coffee every morning. Personally for me, I wish it was closer to Tokyo proper. You have to take train first and then transfer to subway. But, quick ride from/to Haneda Airport and just 3 mimute walk from Otorii train station, Keikyu line. Thank you for making our Japanese experience...
Read moreWe had a fantastic experience here! The hosts were very gracious and hospitable during our visit. The room was very comfortable, and I honestly might just replace my bed with a futon after this.
It is in an incredibly convenient location. There's multiple markets nearby from vegetables to seafood, a Honey Plaza, coin laundry, convenience stores such as Aeon, FamilyMart, and Mini Stop, and there's plenty of food nearby. Not to mention Otorii Station is a few minutes walk and will get you places. Thanks to this, Haneda Airport and Shinagawa are not far at all.
I will absolutely 100% recommend this place. Not only is it affordable, it is also very comfortable and welcoming. And it is in a very convenient location that makes...
