I visited here after a night of shopping. No reservation, no problem.
The first issue is that the entire restaurant smells like sewage. I'm pretty sure it's not the fault of the restaurant , but it severely permeates into the restaurant. I thought this smell would be gone after moving to the 2nd floor of the restaurant, but sadly it remained and completely ruined the entire dining experience.
Our server was, cold and a bit rude, to say the least. And when I ordered a bottle of wine, there wasn't even any tasting to see if the wine was corked or had any other issue. Luckily, the wine was fine.
The food was pretty bland. Not enough salt, or any other seasonings for that matter. The fact that a plate of pasta costs more than 2000円 should mean that good ingredients to make it taste good are going into it. The pasta I ate should've had a price of around 700円. The food is severely overpriced for the quality.
Overall, I won't go back. The only good things were the wine and shop decor. Other than that, nothing much...
Read moreGreat food at a great location for a couple’s date night out. This Sicilian restaurant is located in the heart of Ginza. The food and drinks are amazingly good. That explains the Tokyo-Michelin’s guide 1 star rating. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy perfect for a night out with your special one. The wine selection is wide with tons of variety to accommodate all preferences.
They offer a diverse menu selection as well as small tapas choices. The taste is delicious and the serving portions are adequate. The prices are definitely Ginza prices ($$$$).
Overall I would rate this place 5 out of 5 for the food and drinks. However I would give this place a 3 for the price. We will come back to this place whenever we want to celebrate an...
Read moreWe visited this restaurant for lunch on June 8, 2025. It was the very first restaurant we went to at the start of our trip to Japan.
While the man on the first floor, who seemed to be the manager, didn’t appear particularly welcoming to tourists (which felt a bit awkward at first), the male staff member upstairs was incredibly kind. He made a genuine effort to explain the menu in English and even checked in with us during the meal to see how everything was. Thanks to him, my middle school–aged son and I had a very satisfying lunch.
I ordered the lunch set, and my son had a pasta dish that had something anchovy-like in it. Every dish we tried was flavorful and well-prepared — we...
