Pathetic service. We reached the restaurant around 9.20 PM. We were asked so many questions before we were seated. At the time of entering, we were told that the closing time is 10.00 PM. Then we specifically asked if the closing time is 10.00 PM or if the last order deadline is 10.00 PM. The server did not answer and just showed us the table. When we requested to add one more roti/kulcha to our order, at around 9.35PM, were told that no more orders are being accepted. When we asked that we were not even told about the last order. The server then spent time arguing with us. On top of that, we were only requesting for one more kulcha, which would have taken only a couple of minutes to heat and serve. Totally ruined experience. After the argument, I took this picture of my watch with showing time. The worst thing is, looking back, it feels like we were discriminated against based on looks as all other patrons appeared locals and were served even after they started refusing us any service. This sounds so ridiculous, but that's the only explanation I could come up with for the ridiculous behaviour we faced.

Old Delhi is an authentic Indian restaurant just 5 minutes walk from Ginja station on 7th floor. We Went there on 06.06.2024(Thursday) for lunch. No wait for a table. It popularly serves curry lunch sets consisting of a Naan or saffron rice , a curry dish, a small bowl of salad and sweet yogart. Curry dish is different on each day. We ordered 5 sets with chicken butter masala curry, chicken keema curry and vegetable curry with two fried chicken. Chicken Wes tender, juicy and tested awesome. Butter masala curry was a bit sweet. Naans were of big size and served hot. Portion was sufficient.In the end we enjoyed Masala tea. The prices are reasonable and almost at par with Indian Restaurants The ambience is very good. The service was prompt and courteous.There were Japanese and European customers also enjoying Indian food. Highly recommended for Indian food lovers visiting Tokyo.

Indian curries are usually thick but found them to be quite opposite here , like a rasam. We ordered chicken curry and the recommended Kashmir curry along with rice. If you have a japanese person to take to an Indian restaurant, may be this is a good place to initiate. My japanese colleague likes this place a lot. Overall a good vibe, good ambience. Staff was courteous and service was fast.

It’s a pretty old restaurant - setup in 1956 as per its webpage, by a japanese owner who stayed in India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka for some time. Although most of the dishes are Indian, they have brought in their own twist in each of the dishes, I guess inspired by owner’s experience and to make it more palatable to local clientele. Tandoori chicken started with gravy on top of it, or a bharwa baingan too in the same fashion! Does bring in a different taste. Very disappointed with my visit here. We came very excited to eat Indian food and were greeted with a very negative chef/server wearing white chefs outfit (Indian chef from Nepal). He wanted us to make sure the prices were okay before we even tried to step foot into the restaurant. Judging us as soon as we walked in. We felt very discriminated against. Even when we said the food style was okay with us he stood in our way not welcoming at all! Then later on when we tried to order a Japanese drink he asked us again if the price was okay with us as it was “expensive” judging us AGAIN. We felt horrible at this point and very judged, unfortunately we had already placed our order so we didn’t want to leave it. He ha ZERO customer service and never smiled or apologized for his service. He was fine with the rest of the customers in the restaurant. I would NOT suggest going here, this one specific chef/ server was VERY rude. Not worth spending your money here. Go...
