A true Italian restaurant with Japanese hospitality
As a person who was exposed to Bolognese culture, I wanted to try the restaurant with my 12 yrs old daughter and my not a bit Italian cultured Japanese wife.
Results: Antipasta/Starter: Well balanced vegetable sauce and salad. Delicious carpaccio di manzo (beef). Special set was linguine. It was freshly made. Arabbiato and Bolognese sauce was very tasty. Garlic sauce and good parmesan. Highest quality one can find in Japan. I tasted the tagliatelle.. Service was exquisite. Much better than those touristic restaurants in Bologna. The most delicious dish to me was Lamb Chops.. Service, Presentation, Finishing and Taste were 100 over 10. I have never tasted such soft yet rightly grilled lamb chops in my 50 years.. Very good wine selection and dessert choices. Atmosphere and location are giving the impression that the restaurant is at St Tropez. It is child friendly and restaurant is absolutely great for a relaxed dinner experience with such a...

The staff were also the best and kind, they took the time to explain the menu whenever we had questions. One of the chefs even offered to take photos of us when he saw us taking instax photos. When they brought the birthday plate out (yes, they do birthday plates too!), the chef was also so nice and offered to take more photos of us 🤍 I didn’t mention whose birthday it was but they still did a great job of doing the surprise plate (they put both desserts in one plate and served it to us with...

However, the vegetables that they served with the steak was super cold like they just took them out of the fridge, and the food was just ok. I got an appetizer of squid in red wine, escabeche of monkfish liver, and scallop and vegetable tartare. They were fine but nothing to write home about. Then I had the carbonara spaghetti which had a cheese like flavor of Kraft mac and cheese. The steak was rare and decent enough, the spices were ok as well. The desert and coffee after were decent enough as well. All in all, it did the job but as an Italian Restaurant in Tokyo area it should and...
