I have read through reviews and decided to address through my own experience:
I have read about rude staff reviews for foreigners… Foreigners, this is the best experience I have had at a cat cafe in Tokyo. If you simply just listen and are patient, you will have no problem with any staff. They were polite, friendly, and explained everything with no issue. They would translate into english for me and my boyfriend for any misunderstanding.
As for cats not wanting to interact reviews— every cat has a different personality. There were sweet cate sitting in laps, playful cats, sleepy cats, and more. 24 different cats and they were never aggressive!! Always sweet and look very well cared for. They have color coded collars that staff explain to you; some cats just don’t like being touched sometimes! They see lots of people everyday so be patient with them!!
I’ve seen people say they get really crazy about treats ( you can choose to pay for them and feed them) but all cats really are gluttonous. None of them are scarily skinny, and none of them are too overweight. They do really look well cared for. In my experience, some of them do get full and decline treats.
Overall, the cafe is cute!! They have lots of seats and places for the cats to play. I personally think the prices are perfectly set as well. I paid around 50~usd for an hour, 2 drinks, and lots of treats. I feel that’s entirely reasonable for what I got. I felt welcomed and everything was perfect.
My favorite cat was Haruta!!! Try it...

Situated on the second floor, it offers cozy cubicles while maintaining a spacious atmosphere. The interior exudes cleanliness and features a modern minimalist design. With a delightful presence of around 20-30 cats, patrons are asked to order a beverage before entering. I personally recommend trying their hot chocolate or refreshing peach juice.
The cats at this cafe have a wonderfully laid-back and friendly nature. They exhibit curiosity and are always interested in their surroundings. You'll find some of them casually lounging around the treat area, while others can be seen peacefully napping. A few of the felines are quite food motivated, leading to amusing and entertaining interactions. Overall I highly...
Read moreVisited Cat Café MOFF with two others and paid 4,740 JPY for just 30 minutes – which included a drink each. The cappuccino I received was barely half full when I opened the lid, and the taste was honestly awful.
The woman at the front counter was not polite, and the overall atmosphere felt cold and unwelcoming. We made a point to leave after around 20 minutes once I read about their sneaky per-minute charge after 30 minutes.
Be warned – your 30-minute timer starts the moment you leave the front counter, not when you enter the cat area. You lose about 5 minutes just going through the process of removing shoes, storing bags, and putting on slippers and 5 minutes in reverse.
Would not recommend – overpriced, uninviting, and overall disappointing....
