Wow, this place use to be great 5 years ago or so. It's absolutely terrible now.
I came here at 4pm on weekday and there wasn't another table, only my friend and I. We ordered 3 dishes and 2 drinks. Shortly after we ordered, a family of 5 came in also. There was 3 people in the kitchen and one waiter (older guy). He seemed much more chatty and friendly with the family. First dish comes out of the kitchen and he tries to give it to the family even though they just had ordered and we were waiting for 15 minutes for our food, lol. How/why would he think it's for them? They said they didn't order that and he gave it to me. Didn't say sorry or anything.
5 minutes later my nachos come out and he gives it to the other table again. WHAT!? lol. This time the other table starts to eat it before realizing it's not theirs. The waiter and the table talk out loud about how he gave them the wrong nachos but he doesn't say a word to us or apologize when the remade nachos come out 10 minutes later. How incompetent do you need to be to make that same mistake TWO TIMES when you only have TWO TABLES? If you can't wait on 2 tables, you shouldn't be a waiter.
Finally, my food. I don't know what part of Mexico they're from, but every Mexican restaurant I've ever been to, yes, even in Mexico, a chimichanga is FRIED. They served me a burrito on a plate and called it a chimichanga. Shredded cheese inside wasn't even melted. Tasted terrible.
I miss your old chefs and staff. What a terrible and...
Read moreI must tell you that if you are expecting a good food and service, please read my comment. I am going there for lunch time ,but when I arrived there , I take pictures first cos I will comment on google map . The chef thought I am a tourist and then he flipped the plank board “closed “ I was confused why he did this, because I saw there was not busy and the google map show is opened time. And I also saw the two people in the restaurant and ordered food. So I waited and took pictures. He saw me don’t want to leave and open the door said 予約and I show him the google map said where does it write down on your website or any information show should 予約?finally he realized I am not a tourist, and let me in, so the chef totally 嘘だ。cos when after me there are some Japanese come ,obviously they haven’t make any reservation and they just let them in. I was very disappointed for this restaurant cos I really liked Mexican food that I just seek the best food want to try, I often come this area for lunch and go to the Tokyo metropolitan gymnasium . Any one who just walked by or you looked like tourists should be careful they will treated you very rude. in Tokyo you can find as much as possible the authentic foreign food. Don’t bother to come this rude staff and food just so so restaurant, the same price you have any other good choices for sure. You can see other comments also said there rude attitude but my experience today even worse like oblivious discrimination and lie...
Read moreDelicious Mexican food and friendly English speaking staff! Food: I ordered the salsa verde (green tomatillo sauce) chicken enchiladas and my friend ordered the red salsa chicken enchiladas. The plates came with choice of salsa/lime rice, beans, or guacamole. We both chose the lime rice, which was so good and perfectly balanced in flavor! The green enchilada sauce was also delicious and I highly recommend it! As for the red enchilada sauce, it was good but honestly lacked a little of bit of spices/flavor. The shredded chicken inside the enchiladas was amazing! So juicy and flavorful! Chips and salsa were also delicious and my friend ordered a strawberry shake which she rated a 7/10 because it was very sweet. Service and environment: We ate on the right side of the establishment which had an older AC unit so it was pretty warm inside. (We were told that the left side has better AC) It is a bit small inside but the design and decorations are nice. I believe every staff that was working spoke English along with Japanese! They were all chill and friendly which I really enjoyed.
My notes: Maybe for tourists, paying ¥600 for All You Can Drink is not bad, but for locals it seems a bit pricey. The plates that the enchiladas were served on were very cute, but the sauce would easily overflow off the plate because of how small it was. This is just my personal feedback, overall the food and service is...
