Very nice concept : each table has its own grill to cook your seafood, you order via QR code (English Menu and free WiFi available) and staff brings you the items you ordered.
You can see fresh shellfish near the entrance in an aquarium as a good sign of how fresh it is going to be served to you.
Staff is very friendly and helpful, there is a strong smell of fish which is normal since it’s seafood is served fresh.
The portions feel small but this allows you to taste a bit of everything.
I recommend getting a plate of sashimi while your food is cooking it might take a little time, I had an assortment of shellfish, grilled tuna, a plate of sashimi and some fried squid, everything was nicely prepared.
I’m tempted to get one of those grills to use at home.
Recommended place if you never tried this type...
Read moreRidiculously poor dining experience. We were served a plate of food that wasn't even what we ordered, and when we checked out, we were told that we would be charged 430 yen per person, which is robbery, isn't it? This is not the case at all at other Isomaru, you at least have the responsibility to inform us in advance. And I went back after eating and felt sick to my stomach, I think it's because of the food, or maybe it's because this place really disgusts me!
Please don't spend...
