Their service is one of the worst ever. I was hyped to try it out from all the positive reviews, but only to end up with a disappointment.
I guess, yea in Shimokita, the seating capacity along with the quality of sweets is hard to come by, but the servers and even the manager were down right rude. The type of cake we ordered was out. They told me this about 10 min after they took our orders. Told us a new batch will be out later; we asked how much later, the server didn’t even say a word and begrudgingly left our table to go check.
She didn’t come back for about another 10 min. Told us it’s be about 2 hours. They actually brought the new batch out like 30 min. later.
Every time we would ask them something, we got a super negative vibe, like we are an annoyance to them. Not so much of what they did or did not do, just didn’t feel like we were wanted.
I was too irritated to recall what we ended up ordering, but it was good indeed. So, I can understand the higher rating people give this place. I just wish we had a much better dining experience, however.
I will never go back...
