We had the spicy ramen (miso broth) and it was delicious- packed with flavor but not really spicy. The chashu was on the dry side but I am really being picky here. We did not order any extra toppings and the meal was just right. The noodles are slightly thicker than regular and are great for picking up the soup. The dumplings were very tender, the casing was thin and delicate, the filling was well spiced. The staff was very polite and the service quick. Had the new limited edition vegan ramen. Soup was actually tasty with strong umami flavour and mushrooms were tasty with good texture. Sadly that's where the good things end. Noodles were way too starchy and char siew leaves much to be desired. I'm sure there're better mock meat suppliers out there... It's also really expensive at 1000 yen.
Honestly 2 stars but +1 for not completely bungling the soup at least.
The regular menu is meh but I'd choose ippudo over...
