Off Harujuku situated in a basement you'll find a old timey atmosphere café with some delicious cakes and pastries.
The place is dressed up in a very distinct feel of an old English pastry shop and the atmosphere is very cozy.
Service is great and the waitress was very accomodating to our horrible Japanese as we blundered through ordering.
The cakes themseleves were great, my friend had the anniversary strawberry mille crepe cake while I had the pear tart. Sadly they were out of the strawberry shortcake which was a shame so definitely keep in mind that they can run out!
The anniversary cake was amazing, one of the best my friend had! The pear tart however was good, but I felt the cream felt a bit off taste wise. We got the cake and I finish coffee quickly and left.
We do not understand it is because of language barrier or they really didn’t wanted us...

An upscale restaurant with a European vintage feel. Super friendly service and English menu available if need be. They have tea time in the afternoon.
I enjoyed the anmitsu and Charlotte cake with Earl grey tea. I was eyeing the pudding parfait but decided against it.
If you come too late, some of their desserts are sold out, which is a good sign. It’s also “not too sweet” a perfect sign for any Asian parent. Expect it to be on the...
