This place was located conveniently next to our Airbnb. There was a small line as we approached the establishment, but it didn't take too long. The owners are nice. We didn't have much interaction with them, but I could see how they were with other customers. Their English is not the best, but will understand basic English for ordering. It also never hurts to learn a few japanese phrases used while ordering.
The coffee was good. One of the better ones I've had during my stay in Japan. The Imagawayaki was a good treat. We ordered both the red bean and purple sweet potato filling. Made fresh and was not too sweet. My mom's was a little undercooked on the inside, but such things happen here and there. It was a good quick breakfast for us.

It’s a bit out of the way as we are staying in Asakusa, but plan to go again tomorrow because it was THAT good! (I am tempted to order two lattes for myself this time. Don’t judge! ;)
Best coffee in Tokyo and it easily ranks top 5 for me overall!
Friendly barista- we share a love for Pancho Villa Taqueria in S.F. and Bay Area football. Go Niners! (He’d say...
Read moreThis is our third trip to Japan, and one of my favourite things when travelling is to try out different coffee shops. This has quickly become my favourite one for many reasons. The latte is delicious, the space is lovely and, most of all, the owner is extremely kind & welcoming.
Aside from the great coffee, there are also delicious snacks. As well, prices are incredibly good.
If I could reward bonus stars, I would for the fact that they also serve decaf which is not as common in Japanese cafes compared to North America. For those like my wife who can't consume caffeine due to heart issue, decaf allows them to enjoy great...
