Ushigashira seru — Restaurant in Tokyo

Been there on JAN24 cos review and many choice of beef on the menu. But never know before if you are foreigner you can order only set dinner for $6000 yen per person

I never had problems to order any foods in Japan even I can’t speak Japanese. Now is 2024 we have a lot of APP for translate!!!!

So I think it gonna be easy for them to ask foreigner order only one set menu. I understand that but the problem is quality and quantity is too bad we are group of 8 hungry peoples. We pay 6000*8 for just only 2 beef platters. They serves 5 portions of meat, 8 pieces per portion.

That mean 10 small pieces per person and too chewy only one part of them is good. 😢

So disappointed cos the local menu so completely different and more...

As a foreigner customer, it was actually nice to have a set dinner where I can leave it up to the restaurant to select my cuts for me. It was like a beef "omakase". The whole set includes a drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic), with sides and 2 courses of meat, with soup and rice. Very reasonable, and the quality of the meat was very good and cut in a manner perfect for grilling at the table.

This is not a place where you are trying to fill up with meat. There is quality behind the food and service in this restaurant that I think some reviewers have overlooked because they are...

上野駅から少し離れたところにある隠れ家な雰囲気の焼肉店

ウッディな雰囲気のカジュアルな店内！

店名の『ウシガシラセル』 面白いこの店名は何？ ウシ→牛、ガシラ→頭、セル→売　かと、想像しましたが お店の人に聞きましたら 「牛が知らせる」でした。要するに食べてみれば牛肉自体がおいしさを教えてくれるということだそうです 納得！

全体的に肉卸直営というだけあってお値段もリーズナブル！

通常メニューは1000円前後 特上メニューが1600円前後でいただけます。

✴︎センマイ刺 他の店に比べ、格段においしい。 タレも酢味噌と塩胡麻油の2種類ついており好みで食べ分けられます。

✴︎タンユッケ コリコリして歯ごたえがありおいしい！

限定入荷の牛タン ✴︎牛タンの大判タン 特大のタン！薄いのですぐ焼けますので、あぶる程度でOK！

今回のおすすめ　佐賀牛もいたきました。 ✴︎佐賀牛いちぼ 脂がのってて、くどくなくあっさりいただけます。柔らかくて美味しい！

✴︎ハラミ これもリーズナブル。他の店の上ハラミの味です。

白米🍚も注文！ 焼肉には白米が合いますね！より食欲が進みます😋
