Cohiba Atmosphere — Restaurant in Tokyo

This lounge is beautiful, but the treatment towards foreigners is terrible. First, we were forced to buy a drink for each member of our party to even sit down (despite buying a dozen cigars, the bar being empty, and us having 2 people that don't drink). The cigar selection was good, but we were charged almost twice the listed price from their website for no apparent reason. They tried to hide this by not giving us an itemized receipt until I asked. Service was cold and unwelcoming, like we were a nuisance instead of customers. I have never felt uncomfortable like this in any cigar lounge before. This place is amazing and with wide selection of premium cigars. I really enjoyed the laid back atmosphere and the easy listening music playing low in the background. I came here a few days ago and was so impressed with the experience I had to come back again before leaving Japan.

Unlike the previous reviewer, my experience as a foreigner was VERY positive. I was charged the correct prices and shown the receipt on checkout. The staff treated my kindly during both visits.

This was a great place for me until tonight. We showed up after dinner at Gon Pachi. We had a larger group (10) but we were all relatively quiet and respectful. We tried to sit at an empty table set that easily held 10. The female waitress was ok with us, but the male was absolutely against us being there and made such a scene that we weren’t allowed to stay. I have been here with just 2 people several times before with no problems. Maybe 8 Americans are too many for this place. Super disrespectful, super disappointed, Never...
