Curry & Naan Kinmaru — Restaurant in Tokyo

About 20 seats in an L-shaped layout. Master says it used to be an Italian place, but it still feels like a former izakaya. Very plain layout with Indian music and Nepali staff. Fairly typical menus. No Wi-Fi of their own and the nearby signals seemed weak, so I stayed with my Rakuten Mobile. Chromebook was extra flakey, too.

Curry of the day was chicken with asparagus, which was pretty good, though on a Japanese spice scale. There was hot powder on the table, so that wasn't a problem. Base of the curry was on the thick side, but overall a rather average flavor. The naan was average, too, just slightly to the sweet side today. The ice coffee was presweetened, which isn't my preference. I'll call it a medium four stars, largely on the friendliness...

Pretty good halal Indian restaurant in Nakano Broadway, great naan, good tandoori platter, butter chicken and yogurt sauces were too sweet. Service was pretty good but they only take cash, no cards. Unfortunately there were no signs stating that they only took cash so it was a lot of unnecessary added stress when the currency exchange office was closed, the ATM across from the restaurant was not working properly.
