I‘m German and I have been to quite a few German restaurants here; regretfully not a single one is doing German food justice. I’m quite surprised about that fact, given that Tokyo is considered the city with the best restaurants, but I guess it is too expensive to serve proper authentic German dishes here, while the average image of German food in Japan seems to be „beer and sausage“ (and perhaps Bretzel).
So regret to have to say, whoever wants to taste real German cuisine with its wide variety of high quality meat dishes, such as „Tafelspitz“ or „Zwiebelrostbraten“ as well as specialties like „Flammkuchen“ etc, still has to do so in Germany/Europe. In this restaurant there is only a small choice available, and mostly relying on typical „poor man‘s foods“ like sausages or pickled herrings.

Read moreFun place, and being German, I certainly endorse it. The food is delicious and quite authentic in my opinion. And the beer selection is huge, and put together with taste. Great Bavarian beers as well as the northern beers like Jever, Berliner Weiße. Best part, however, is the Mika, who is the sweetest and most attentive waitress. And she speaks German wearing her cute little dirndl! . The space itself though… one less star. All a bit cluttered and definitely needs a facelift.
