We stayed at The B Akasaka in Tokyo and found it to be a compact, functional hotel with a few pros and cons. The location is great—just a five-minute walk to Akasaka Station on the Chiyoda (green) line, which makes it convenient for getting around the city.||However, the rooms are very compact. We had two large suitcases and some hand baggage, and there was barely enough space to move around. We ended up removing the chair from the room and had to store our luggage under the bed. So, if you’re traveling with a lot of luggage, be prepared for a tight fit.||Housekeeping is on request—they don’t clean the room daily unless you ask them to. They do change the towels, but the cups weren’t washed and the floor wasn’t hoovered unless specifically requested, which felt a little disappointing given the price of the stay.||On the plus side, the hotel has some good facilities. There’s a laundry area (washer and dryer), a microwave, and vending machines. In the lobby, they offer free coffee and tea, and from 3 PM to 10 PM, they also serve a complimentary sweet snack like donuts or pastel de nata, which was a nice touch.||The staff were fine—not overly friendly but not rude either. They were helpful and responded to our requests when needed. No complaints there.||One thing to note: the hotel is situated at the top of a hill, which can be a difficult climb. Luckily, we discovered a much easier route via Exit 3B at Akasaka Station. If you take the escalators all the way up, you’ll reach the Biz Tower shopping mall. From there, go through Akasaka Square and look for a hidden alcove just before the stairs—there’s a lift that takes you straight to the top. We were relieved to find this shortcut. ||All in all, I’d rate The B Akasaka as a three-star facility. It served its purpose for us since we spent most of our time exploring Tokyo, but I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for space or...

Stayed here as part of an Exoticca tour. ||It's a decent 3 star hotel in a convenient location. ||Rooms are small but that's to be expected. No room for luggage and so it went on the desk. ||Bed is firm and pillow a little odd (like it's filled with dried peas on one side).||Room was a little dusty, the carpet needed a good vacuum. The glass of the shower cubicle also needed a good clean. |Housekeeping was 10:00-14:00 if you were out, that was an emptying of the bins and fresh towels. Bed linen replaced every 3rd day. I didn't think it was necessary to replace the towels or slippers daily. The shower gel and hand wash smell great. Reception have combs, razors and face wash and moisturiser for you to use. ||Breakfast was decent, cereals, salads, hot food including chicken, vegetables, rice, scrambled eggs, potatoes and either bacon or sausages. The milk bread is too die for! Juice, water and coffee also available. Orange and kiwi wedges too. ||There's a coffee machine in reception and there are yummy mini doughnuts. ||There are vending machines selling soft and alcoholic drinks and snacks. There are also laundry facilities. ||The staff are all lovely. ||Really close to the TBS offices and there's a metro station less than 5 minutes away. Taxis regularly pass and so it's easy to...

This hotel is located within a 10-minute walk to a couple of subway stations on different lines as well as many restaurants. It is however on a hill so may not be an easy walk for some. The room is not big but that is to be expected. It is however very clean and has all the amenities one might need. While not a huge variety on offer for breakfast it is more than sufficient and the food is well prepared. Their milk bread is amazing! Staff on duty in the dining room are also very keen on keeping the dining room clean and food nicely displayed. They would often wipe and tidy up after a couple of people had taken food from the counter. There is a coffee machine in the lobby available 24 hrs a day plus a free pastry for everyone in the afternoon while quantity lasts. I've had a very pleasant experience with this hotel and will recommend it.

Rooms are comfortable enough for 2 adults and 1 child. Breakfast was delicious, and in the evenings, little snacks are served in the lobby. Staff is very nice and helpful. Restaurants and train station are 5-10 minute walk away. Would definitely stay here again. Akasaka station is Harry Potter themed, which I didn't realize when I booked the hotel, so that was a nice touch! Dont take the suggestion from g-maps to get to the hotel because it can be a hike with luggage. Just take exit 3b, take the escalator up, and walk along the covered road. You will see the TBS Broadcasting Building. Walk until you reach a curb, and there is an elevator hidden inside. The elevator takes you directly to the street, and the hotel can be seen after walking out of the elevator. This route is also a 2-3 minutes shorter.

I liked the stay here overall! We stayed in a twin room which was more spacious than expected. And the bathroom was a big size too. They provide toiletries, coffee and breakfast. The afternoon treats were a nice touch. However, rated 4 stars because the bed was extremely hard. They provided an extra blanket to soften it up but it was one of the least comfortable beds I’ve used (and stayed here for 9 nights). And although they provide washing and drying facilities (microwave and vending machines also available), the dryer was terrible. Many people left with their washing damp. Otherwise good location (closest station is akasaka). The hotel is on a hill but there is a lift on the road perpendicular to the hotel for access to akasaka station. I’ve added an image.
