We stayed at The B Akasaka in Tokyo and found it to be a compact, functional hotel with a few pros and cons. The location is great—just a five-minute walk to Akasaka Station on the Chiyoda (green) line, which makes it convenient for getting around the city.||However, the rooms are very compact. We had two large suitcases and some hand baggage, and there was barely enough space to move around. We ended up removing the chair from the room and had to store our luggage under the bed. So, if you’re traveling with a lot of luggage, be prepared for a tight fit.||Housekeeping is on request—they don’t clean the room daily unless you ask them to. They do change the towels, but the cups weren’t washed and the floor wasn’t hoovered unless specifically requested, which felt a little disappointing given the price of the stay.||On the plus side, the hotel has some good facilities. There’s a laundry area (washer and dryer), a microwave, and vending machines. In the lobby, they offer free coffee and tea, and from 3 PM to 10 PM, they also serve a complimentary sweet snack like donuts or pastel de nata, which was a nice touch.||The staff were fine—not overly friendly but not rude either. They were helpful and responded to our requests when needed. No complaints there.||One thing to note: the hotel is situated at the top of a hill, which can be a difficult climb. Luckily, we discovered a much easier route via Exit 3B at Akasaka Station. If you take the escalators all the way up, you’ll reach the Biz Tower shopping mall. From there, go through Akasaka Square and look for a hidden alcove just before the stairs—there’s a lift that takes you straight to the top. We were relieved to find this shortcut. ||All in all, I’d rate The B Akasaka as a three-star facility. It served its purpose for us since we spent most of our time exploring Tokyo, but I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for space or...

Reception have combs, razors and face wash and moisturiser for you to use. ||Breakfast was decent, cereals, salads, hot food including chicken, vegetables, rice, scrambled eggs, potatoes and either bacon or sausages. The milk bread is too die for! Juice, water and coffee also available. Orange and kiwi wedges too. ||There's a coffee machine in reception and there are yummy mini doughnuts. ||There are vending machines selling soft and alcoholic drinks and snacks.
