FREY’S Famous Pizza exceeded our expectations during our recent visit. Eager to explore the buzz surrounding the establishment, my wife and I were delighted by the flavorful creations we indulged in. The Sunny Side Up and Papas pizzas were a true culinary delight, perfectly complemented by a selection of wine. The attentive service provided by both the server and chef enhanced our dining experience, leaving us feeling well-cared for throughout our meal.

However, our enjoyment was briefly interrupted by an unfortunate incident involving an inconsiderate customer who left without paying for their order. Despite this minor hiccup, the professionalism displayed by the staff in handling the situation was commendable.

Food was very good ; however the restaurant staff / management should be aware of hostile guests so that other guests are not affected. A nice evening got unnecessarily spoiled due to a brash man (had an Australian accent) who was sitting next to us and kept looking back - maybe my daughter’s chair was touching his - he could have easily moved his own but kept moving back and giving us stares. We were extremely uncomfortable as we didn’t know what he wanted. He was also a few beers down and sitting with a date? Dunno Finally while leaving - he shook his head at me scornfully and mouthed a profanity whilst outside. We were in complete in shock. After a week of eating delicious Japanese food, my partner and I craved NY pizza. Frey’s just so happened to be right down the street of our hotel, so we decided to check it out on a whim. It’s an unassuming pizza joint that was so incredibly delicious! We went 2 nights in a row it was that good. Across these 2 days we ordered the Pappas, Sunny side, smoked mozzarella pizzas and meatballs, paired with Brooklyn lager and IPA. Frey’s has a super warm and welcoming atmosphere, with bar seats that provide a great view of the chef making individual pizzas by hand.
