My wife and I had a late lunch here today, after visiting our friend in Daikanyama and we were not disappointed!
Since my wife and I lived in southern California for more than 20 years, we are used to good Mexican food and we've been seeking out Mexican places in Tokyo since we moved here late last year.
Frijoles Daikanyama has a great method of serving delicious ingredients in an assembly line format, and you're bound to love it!. They offer a 3-taco plate, burritos, salad, nachos and more. You can choose from pinto or black beans, chicken, pork, beef or guacamole for your filling, and they have plenty of fixings for whatever you order.
They even have a great selection of hot sauces, including habenero hot sauce in both red and green!

I did a search for lunch places in Daikanyama and this place had high reviews so gave it a try. It’s not close to the station, but after my burrito and chips, I needed the walk to help with digestion :)
Burrito was pretty legit - Every bite had an even amount of meat, beans and rice. Burritos come in two sizes, so even the extra hungry won’t be disappointed. The kitchen looks a bit messy, but it’s kinda of what I expect from a grab and go burrito joint.
And as a plus, these guys are open all afternoon, so No worries if you’re headed out after the usual JP lunch...
