Today we visited Cafe Aquille in Ebisu! Speaking of pancakes in Ebisu! A compact introduction to this famous fluffy pancake store!

A word of warning... A delicious cream and fruit pancake that will stick to your sweet tooth at one of the 100 best cafes in Ebisu.

[Access from the station Located a 10-minute walk from Ebisu Station. It's a bit of a walk, but you'll pass through a quiet residential area, so it's the perfect distance to chat with a friend or that someone you're interested in.

The pancake was very tasty with a firm matcha batter. It has a strong matcha flavor. When you put a knife into the pancake, you will find a rich matcha sauce made from Japanese matcha green tea! I highly recommend it if you want to try Japanese-style pancakes!

Such a cute neighborhood place with amazing pancakes, open very late. After having the spring pancakes in March, I came back again (from America) in October to have the Halloween ones. The afternoon tea is so much food! the price is so good too, and the service is fast. extremely cute and cozy and comfortable inside. workers are extremely kind and make sure to explain when certain dishes take a while to prepare, since it's mostly made to order. it's worth the wait! The restaurant is very trendy and the pancake is insta-worthy. The taste was just okay. I might come again if I feel like it and only if I have something to do in the area.

I had a chocolate cookie pancake. The pancake base was not a soufflé pancake but more of a heavy, rustic type. For me the half size was still a little too much and was unable to finish it all. The ice cream with the chocolate pancake was a great combination though it felt more like a chocolate pancake and vanilla ice cream than a chocolate cookie pancake.

The homemade lemonade (soda) I had was delicious. The lemon was quite strong and was very refreshing.
