A small little restaurant located in Akihabara, when you first come in, you will order the curry and customization through a machine first. There is abit of English that’ll make it easy to understand, but a worker will come and assist you if needed. After ordering, you will sit down and give your tickets to the workers for them to prepare your order in the opened kitchen.
The overall wait time, even though is busy wasn’t too long, average 15 mins for all 3 of our dishes to come. We ordered a medium which was pretty big, as there a good piece of katsu placed on top of a good portion of rice, topped with their curry. If you don’t think you can eat much, I recommend getting a small. The curry was very flavorful and had a slight spicy kick to it, however, I think making it a little sweet would’ve made it perfect. The katsu meat was tender, yet the skin was crispy and didn’t taste oily at all. You can also choose to just order rice with curry if you don’t want Katsu, however this place might not be vegetarian friendly as the curry does have bits of meat in it.
Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the...
Read moreBack in 2010, I remember dining at this restaurant and having quick, satisfying meals on regular basis. The staff/owner were friendly, the size of the pork cutlet was large and overall, the food was great.
Now fast forward to 2022, everything went downhill since the previous owner has been changed to a new owner. The food was mediocre at best, portion size of the cutlet was abysmal and service from staff members were extremely poor.
Particularly, service provided by the waitress was absolutely atrocious. She was rude, chucking food ticket in front me and ignored my questions. Most importantly, staff members were talking loudly in Chinese and whispering among themselves as well. I have no idea what they were talking about but after I made an enquiry in relation to my order, they began whispering to themselves which made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unpleasant around them.
All in all, I do not recommend going to this chain where, you are probably better off going to a...
