What a lovely little bar near the Shibuya Cerulean Tower.
It was our friend's last night in Tokyo, so we came here to celebrate the end of our two week trip in Japan. We walked in pretty much at opening. Only saw locals in the bar, that's how we knew we picked the right place ;)
The menu doesn't have any English in it, but nothing google translate can't help out with. We sat at the bar, and had front and center view to all the grill action in the kitchen.
We ordered their spiced chicken, meat croquette, beef tendon stew, and 3x 150g various cut of wagyu beef, and bacon egg roll. Everything was sooooo delicious. The steak was perfection, as was all the other food. Could not fault any of it. And the prices are affordable for such quality food.
The staff were also so inviting, engaging and friendly - exactly what you want at a restaurant - interacting with us throughout the meal.
For any Aussies reading this, the vibe was that of a Melbourne Italian long time establishment. Was mostly locals in the place, with just a few out of towners.
Also, we didn’t have to wait for a table when we arrived at 8:30pm on a Saturday night as walk-ins.
Thanks to the whole team for a...
