Hamamatsucho Pakuchi — Restaurant in Tokyo

This is the perfect place for a thai lunch. There are several other places that serve thai food in the area, but from my experience over several years, this place is the best one. The food tastes very authentic and flavorful (deep and rich taste), and the lunch set is only 900 yen which is the best cospa in the area.

But all of the dishes are excellent. You could eat here every single day of the week.

The owner/family are all extremely nice and friendly too! This place is a real hidden gem.

The ONLY downside is that they don't have cola, although there are a couple small paintings of cola around the restaurant. Just kidding....

Came for lunch just after noon and was quite full but was able to get a seat for 2. Its a Japanese family run Thai food resturant with the son cooking and mum and dad serving. It's friendly and reasonably price. Ordered the gapao rice and yum woon Sen both at 900 yen for the set which includes spring roll and soup. It's a bar counter type of resturant so not one you would spend long time at or go to chat with friends over a meal. It was good but not the Thai food we expected. Reasonable...

前回食べたタレーパッポンカリーが美味しかったので再訪。

が、やはり接客が最悪でした。 前回は着席から20分ほど待たされたのですが、調理担当が一人なのでこれは仕方ない。 今回は女性から「時間かかりますー」と言われ覚悟を決めて待ってたら意外と早く提供(5分くらい)。 ※ご飯やスープなどのセットはすぐに出されるので冷めます

そう、ここはそんな店。 前回は男性と女性がずっとケンカしてて最悪な雰囲気の中みんな食べていました。 今回も早く出てけ…カスハラの逆です。 (パッポンをタッポンと言い間違えた若い方に、しつこく何度も「タッポンじゃなくてパッポンだよ」と言い続けてました)

しかも何かやる度にずっと「はああぁぁー(怒)」とため息ついていて、最初から嫌な雰囲気ではあったのですが、時間かけての撮影でもなく一瞬だったのに目が合ってしまい早く食え発言を頂戴いたしました。

非常に怖かったのでスープ一気飲み、生春巻き2個をいっぺんに口に放り込み、ライスをカレーにダイブ。半分食べたところで苦しくなったので店を出ました。5分もかかってないと思います。

店を出る時、店内は空席有り、待ち無し状態。

料理の味は良いのですが、気分次第の接客に消化は悪いし、席もアッチ！コッチ！と指さしてお客に指示。まだ外で待てとか、いやアッチだ、とか2人で指示が異なるのも迷う基になります。
