Hot spoon — Restaurant in Tokyo

We stayed in a hotel near by and we stopped by for a quick lunch the first day. The restaurant was not big at all and there were limited seats. Yet it was so popular that there were always people waiting whenever I passed by during my stays.

I had a Cheese Curry and my wife had a beef curry with vegetables. Both were fantastic. I enjoyed a lot when they served the curry in a tiny pot that was so hot that the curry looked like dancing in the pot, which made it looked even more tasty.

Great curry place. I had a beef curry with vegetables and a big size rice for ¥946. Really affordable and delicious. They prepare and serve your meal really fast. They serve the curry pot boiling, so if you have problems with really hot food you may have to wait a bit before start eating. The taste is really good and intense. Delicious!! I ordered the Japanese curry beef bowl and added vegetables (one potato, carrots, broccoli and beans). The rice comes out first - you can order any size rice bowl for the listed price (and get a discount if you order the super small size) - then the bubbling, super hot iron pot of stew comes out. I love this style of restaurant and the quality and taste at Hot Spoon is perfect. I had mine spicy which was a nice heat.
