I used to enjoy their fish and chips. It was reasonably priced with a large portion size. Looks like Hub couldn't help playing with the shrinkflation scam either. The portion of their fish & chips have now become ridiculously small. The large version of their fish & chips used to be served in a rather large basket with 2 pieces of fish, now you get a small metal tin with a small piece of fish and a few potatoes only. Note that they don't even stuff the paper down the bottom of the tin, it goes til mid-level only, so the quantity of food you get is ridiculously small. I won't come back there ever again for a fish & chips, nor do I recommend it. It's too much of a scam-sized portion.

I go to Hub a lot. Not necessarily because it's great, but because happy hour is wee-cheap and it totally dominates the pub market around Shinjuku and Shibuya. But to that extent, they really out to give their staff basic English training and they ought to sell at least one real English ale on tap, if they're going to put that all over...
