Odakyu Southern Tower — Hotel in Tokyo

Amazing customer service and very polite. They’re the epitome of Japanese “omotenashi” culture. Great location as its only a one minute walk from Shinjuku station which is the largest train station in the world; you won’t have trouble transport wise😉 Due to its prestige location there’s countless restaurants and department stores located near the hotel and a few within. There’s also a Seven Eleven Convenience store, although it’s not open 24/7. The view is spectacular no matter which side of the building you’re on. The worst stay ever. The service is attricious. Be careful on being over charged, particularly if you are non-Japanese. The cafe in the lobby borders on high-way robbery. We were DELIBERATELY charged for drinks we didn't order nor received because not eveyone wanted to pay $17 for a coffee. Save yourself the hassle of arguing with an inexperienced head waiter who makes out he doesn't speak English. It is a big hotel that feels a bit hectic but has everything you might need, in the room and in the area. We had the triple room for the children and a king room for us and they were not smaller than any European hotel room, maybe bigger. We didn’t try the breakfast.
