Dining at Wagyu Yakiniku Nikutarashi was an absolute treat from start to finish. The moment you step in, you’re greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that perfectly balances elegance with comfort. The restaurant takes pride in showcasing the best of premium wagyu, and every detail — from presentation to taste — highlights their dedication to quality.
The courses were thoughtfully curated, each one bringing out the natural flavors of the wagyu in unique ways. The marbling of the beef was simply exquisite, melting in the mouth with a rich, buttery texture that you can only get from carefully sourced wagyu. Every bite felt indulgent, yet refined.
A special highlight of my visit was the service. Our waiter, Fendi, was incredibly accommodating and made the entire experience even more memorable. He was not only attentive to every need but also extremely knowledgeable, taking the time to explain each course and its preparation. His passion for both the cuisine and customer service truly stood out, making us feel comfortable and well taken care of throughout the evening.
Overall, Wagyu Yakiniku Nikutarashi is more than just a meal — it’s an experience. From the top-quality wagyu to the impeccable service, everything exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an unforgettable yakiniku...
Read moreAyaka’s service was really great. She is super friendly and helpful. Helping to translate from Japanese into English and vice-versa, to help grilling the meat, and to explain everything.
All the other things also wonderful — quality of meat and ambiance. Super experience!
The one thing that we were less happy about: the speed and rush feeling of the whole experience. This is not the fault of the waiters or staff but of the owners or managers. They want people to hurry up, eat & drink fast, pay, and make space for the next customers. I understand that the restaurant needs several rounds per evening but they should not put so much pressure and give people a bit more time to enjoy and relax their meal.
The meat is of great quality but the place is also not cheap. For such a price, I don’t think they should rush their customers that much. And even if the place were cheap: as a customer you never want to be rushed that much!
We received the bill and were asked to pay before we had even touched the desert. The desert that was part of the fixed premium menu.
So in short: staff = excellent, food = excellent but the management’s policy and the rush to eat quick and get out of their quick for the next round of...
Read moreWe were in Tokyo for a short vacation and it was my husband’s birthday. I wanted to treat him to a nice yakiniku dinner and I found Nikutarashi through a social media review. Seeing their Google rating at 4.9 and all the reviews, I knew we had to try them.
We made a reservatiom via Google maps and as soon as we went in, we were assisted to our table. I personally requested to be seated to our own table and not by the counter since I wanted it to be a bit more special for my husband’s birthday. They obliged.
Now we know why they have a 4.9 rating.
From the food, to the ambiance, to the service - everything was just excellent. We availed the premium set course, which had A5 Wagyu and Kobe beef. Our server, Fuka Taguchi, was an absolute delight. She made sure that we were comfortable. Each course was served like clockwork. We didn’t even have to follow up on anything. Fuka made sure we had a great time. She also grilled the meat with such precision. Everything was so good, especially the Kobe beef.
This was the best dining experience we had so far in Japan. And quite honestly, I think it’ll be quite hard to surpass. I definitely recommend Nikutarashi for those wanting to have some high quality A5 Wagyu...
